A practical Passive House and Green Building training program with networking conference
Aims of the course:

To raise the knowledge and capacity of local professionals about energy efficient building;

Train professionals to use the knowledge and tools to design energy efficient buildings through practical workshop

Discuss problems and solutions to kick-start low-energy bulding practice in Estonia and Latvia
Target group:

Contents of the course:

Passive House concept (definition, history, examples)

Practical workshops of energy use and comfort measurement tools for buildings (Blower door, infrared camera, airtightness, indoor climate)

Passive house design and methods, PHPP calculation practical workshop

Example solutions of Valga kindegarden Kaseke and low-energy refurbishment designs in Latvia
-
Green building rating systems and procurement – discussion and workshop
